News of actor Morgan Freeman’s death spread quickly earlier this week causing concern among fans across the world.
However the August 2017 report has now been confirmed as a complete hoax and just the latest in a string of fake celebrity death reports. Morgan Freeman’ Facebook page attracted nearly one million of ‘likes’.
"The recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media design to sell papers," Freeman said in a statement obtained by E!
